Shroud of the Avatar has one of the most creative and vibrant communities in all of gaming.

- College of Arms – Shoud of the Avatar sanctioned community group in charge of assisting players create unique coats of arms to be used in the game and includes a crest generator web application to assist players in the process.
- The Bards of Poets’ Circle – Community driven group of musical artists and composers who have crafted more than 95% of the music that can be heard in-game. Run by Master Bard Holt Ironfell.
